      <p class="para_topic"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_lower_scrap_cutter.gif" border="0">The Lower Scrap Cutter lets you build the solid geometry representing a lower scrap cutter. A die designer would find this function useful in modeling trim dies. The geometry for a lower scrap cutter can be rather complex, and this function makes the process of creating the scrap cutter much simpler and quicker
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The trim profile must exist in the proper position. You should decide where along the trim profile the lower scrap cutters are to exist and create planes at these points. You should decide the base position for each lower scrap cutter and create a plane at that position. Finally, enter the Lower Scrap Cutter function, supply all of the input, and create the lower scrap cutter.</p>

               </p><a name="scrap_cutter_sct_scrap_cut_orientation"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuter_orient_ico.gif" border="0">Orientation - Lets you specify a vector/plane/curve that defines where the lower scrap cutter should be placed along the trim profile, as well as the orientation of the lower scrap cutter. If you select a curve, a temporary plane is created that is defined by the end points of the curve and the trim direction. The length of the lower scrap cutter will also be determined by the length of a selected curve. Internally the plane specified is rotated into the trim direction. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuter_baseloc_ico.gif" border="0">Base Orientation - Lets you specify a vector/plane that determines the orientation of the lower scrap cutter base.  
               </p><a name="scrap_cutter_sct_scrap_cut_base_loc"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuter_shtmetal_ico.gif" border="0">Sheet Metal - Lets you specify the sheet body that represents the shape of the sheet metal being trimmed. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><a name="scrap_cutter_sct_scrap_cut_back_shape"></a><img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuter_backshp_ico.gif" border="0">Back Shape - Lets you specify plane(s) that define the shape of the base of the lower scrap cutter. A default base is generated if the base width parameter is not zero. Planes selected for this step will further trim the default base shape. &nbsp;Internally, any planes specified are rotated into the trim direction. 
               </p><a name="scrap_cutter_sct_scrap_cut_sheet_metal"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuter_ribplan_ico.gif" border="0">Rib Planes - Lets you specify plane(s) that determine the location and orientation of ribs on the lower scrap cutter. Ribs are only produced if a base is desired. If no planes are supplied a default rib is created at the center of the base. Internally, any planes specified are rotated into the base orientation direction.

These points determine the center of the dowel hole when viewed along the base orientation direction.

These points determine the center of the dowel hole when viewed along the base orientation direction.

This is optional if the direction is absolute -Z direction
