      <p class="para_topic">You can edit the DIE_OUTPUT feature, through Edit&gt; Feature&gt; Parameters, which opens the Die Output dialog. (The DIE_OUTPUT feature is created during the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_trim_task.html');return(false);">Trim Task</a> operation.) You can make two types of changes to the sheet representing the DIE_OUTPUT:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Adjust the sheet to compensate for the effects of springback</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Modify the tolerance used in sewing this sheet</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">If you want compensation for springback, several methods to accomplish the adjustment are available. Separate sub dialogs display for each method, allowing you to specify the control parameters. Springback does not create a new sheet as output, but modifies the existing sheet.</p>

               <p class="para_td">The Springback Compensation option menu allows you to select the type of Springback Compensation that you want. Selecting any of the options except None enables the Define Springback button, which you use to open the sub dialog for the control parameters for the selected type.</p>
               <p class="para_td">None - No compensation is performed.</p>
               <p class="para_td"> <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_edit_face_membrne_exp.html');return(false);">Uniform Membrane Expansion</a> - Lets you uniformly scale a sheet body about its center of mass.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_edit_face_ocrown_byfnc.html');return(false);">Overcrown by Function</a> - Lets you modify a sheet body within a user-defined region on the faces of the sheet body. The modification to the sheet is defined by a transition function within the region.

               <p class="para_td">Displays the appropriate dialog for the type of Springback Compensation selected from the option menu, either the Membrane Expansion dialog (for Uniform Membrane Expansion), the Overcrown by Function dialog, or the Overcrown by Surface dialog. If None is specified on the option menu, the Define Springback button is disabled.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Use Edit&gt; Feature&gt; Parameters or the Model Navigator to select and open the Die Output dialog for the desired DIE_OUTPUT feature.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">From the Die Output dialog, choose the type of Springback Compensation desired, either Uniform Membrane Expansion, Overcrown by Function or Overcrown by Surface. Choose None if you do not want to specify Springback Compensation.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Define Springback push button to display a dialog that allows the parameters for springback to be defined (see  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_edit_face_membrne_exp.html');return(false);">Uniform Membrane Expansion</a>,  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_edit_face_ocrown_byfnc.html');return(false);">Overcrown by Function</a> or  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_edit_face_ocrown_bysurf.html');return(false);">Overcrown by Surface</a>). Complete the parameters and return to the Die Output dialog.
            </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Optionally, change the Sewing Tolerance.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click OK or Apply to complete the changes to the DIE_OUTPUT feature.</p>
         </li>
