      </table><br><p class="para_topic"> The trim profile can be broken into segments, and you can use this dialog to specify steel insert type and parameters for each segment. To access the <b class="uiTerm">Segments</b> dialog, double-click on<b class="uiTerm"> Segments</b> in the <b class="uiTerm">Steel Insert</b> tree list  or on one of the child segments of the parent node. If you invoke this dialog using a child node, it won't have the <b class="uiTerm">Add End Points/Add End Planes</b> button.

The curve between the previous end point and the current end point is defined as a segment. You can specify a point or a plane for this step.

      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> Select a point or plane on the curve to specify the end point of the current segment. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Select a vector (Inferred Vector) for the CAM direction. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional)  Use the <b class="uiTerm">Plane Subfunction</b> dialog to specify the end point of the current segment.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional)  Add end points or end planes for all segments of the trim profile. These won't include the end points of the <b class="uiTerm">Connecting Profiles</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> (Optional) Clear the <b class="uiTerm">Profile Relief</b> option button, if you don't want to build relief along the profile segment. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Specify the section parameters for the current segment by displaying the <b class="uiTerm">Contact Section Parameters </b>dialog.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> to accept your settings and return to the main dialog. 
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
