If you do not make selections for this step, dowel holes are not created.

If you do not make selections for this step, bolt holes are not created.

            <p class="para_item">Use the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_dialog.html');return(false);">Cam Direction</a> selection step to specify a vector defining the direction of the trim steel travel. If you do not define a direction, the default direction of -Z absolute is used.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Supply the desired  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_dialog.html');return(false);">Entrance</a> value.

            <p class="para_item">Specify if you want  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_dialog.html');return(false);">Joint Relief</a> at the Start and End of the trim steel.

            <p class="para_item">Specify the required  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_dialog.html');return(false);">Scrap Cutter</a>.
            </p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Specify the required Scrap Cutter Entrance value.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally override any of the default values controlling the shape of the trim steel by changing them with the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_other.html');return(false);">Other Parameters</a> option.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> to create the DIE_TRIM_STEEL feature, and if applicable, the DIE_LOWER_SCRAP_CUTTER feature.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The trim steel feature is created in the current work part, if a part attribute does not exist in a part file in the current subassembly structure. If this attribute exists, the features is created in the part file, with the title specified by the <b class="uiTerm">Creation Part Attribute Title/Reference Set Name</b> customer default for the respective die component. If a reference set exists in the part file with the specified name, then the output solid of the feature is added to that reference set.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">If the <b class="uiTerm">Create Component</b> customer default is selected, then a new part file is created and added to the work part or the part file found as a component, and the trim steel is created in this new part file. 
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The name of the new part file is the parent part file name with a suffix of an underscore and an incremented number (_1, _2, _3 &hellip;). The next unused number is used, filling in available gaps, based on names already in the assembly. If a file in the current subassembly has a part attribute title specified by <b class="uiTerm">Start Part Attribute Title</b>, then input data is linked from the part file it is in, first to this part file, and then to the final file.
            </p>
