               <p class="para_td">Selection Steps</p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/tip_prod.gif" border="0"> Tipped Product lets you select Any, Die Tip, or CSYS. If you select a Die Tip feature then the function will output trim tasks in the associated lineup. The system determines the press and flow direction from the lineup. The Sheet Metal step is preselected with the die output sheet body. If you select a CSYS, the function outputs planes and CSYS's as required for the trims defined. The press and flow direction is determined from the CSYS Z and X directions, respectively.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/trim_prof.gif" border="0"> Trim Profile lets you select curve(s) or edge(s) that define the trim to be performed. If you select curves or edges of existing trim tasks, all the remaining trim profile data from the trim tasks are added to the selection step. The temporary display data is immediately shown as trim task profiles are selected. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/sht_mtl.gif" border="0"> Sheet Metal lets you specify a sheet body that represents the sheet metal being trimmed. This is optional input; if the sheet metal is not supplied then it is assumed all trimming will be done in press direction (-Z absolute). 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/new_trm_prof.gif" border="0"> New Trim Profile lets you select curve(s) or edges(s) that are to replace the profile in the existing trim tasks. Upon selection of each data item the division points of the existing trim tasks are mapped to this new profile by using an arc length ratio &nbsp;comparison. You should ensure the starting point of the New Trim Profile is near the original Trim Profile. The direction of the New Trim Profile should be the same as the direction of the original Trim Profile.
               </p>

               <p class="para_td">Allows you to set various angle values used in the calculation of trim tasks.</p>

                     <p class="para_item">Trim Up Limit - Lets you specify angles. When the angle between the sheet metal surface normal and press/cam direction exceeds this value, and the surface tangent is above the press/cam direction perpendicular, the system determines that a new cam is needed. The second angle is a warning limit for shading purposes.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Trim Down Limit - Lets you specify angles. When the angle between the sheet metal surface normal and press/cam direction exceeds this value, and the surface tangent is below the press/cam direction perpendicular, the system determines that a new cam is needed. The second angle is a warning limit for shading purposes.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">CAM Increment - Lets you specify an angle. The system ensures that cam angles are rounded to this value as measured from press direction.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Wall Angle - Lets you specify an angle. This angle is a warning limit used in the display of the wall angle values.</p>

                     <p class="para_item">Minimum - Lets you specify a length. The system will ensure that the length of a contiguous trim will not be shorter than this value.</p>

                     <p class="para_item">Maximum - Lets you specify a length. The system will ensure that the length of a contiguous trim will not be longer than this value.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">Corner Clearance - Lets you specify a length. The system will ensure the ends of trims are this distance from any corner point of the trim profile.</p>

               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/trim_wall_ang.gif" border="0"> Trim/Wall Angles - both trim angles and wall angles are displayed.

If profiles selected were not from existing trim tasks, this option is not available and new trim tasks are created. The option uses defaults based on the selection.</p>

               <p class="para_td">When the angle between adjacent tangents at a point in the trim profile exceeds the Angle specified, and angles between subsequent tangents on either side of this point are within the Angle Deviation for a distance of Length, this point is considered a corner.</p>
