      <p class="para_division">The following checks can be performed using the Process Aid Check function:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Distance check between Datum Points and Measurement Data</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Distance check between Datum Points and Spot Weld</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Distance check between Measurement Data and Spot Weld</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

      <p class="para_division">To access the Process Aid Check dialog, do one of the following:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the MPAW toolbar, choose the Process Aid Check icon:  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ch_icon.gif" border="0">.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">On the menu bar, choose Tools-&rarr;Process Aid-&rarr;Process Aid Check.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">The Process Aid Distance Check dialog appears.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Turn this toggle ON to carry out a distance check between selected datums. This option lets you restrict the number of checks to be carried out to the datum combination of your choice.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Based on the type of check chosen, the process aid features available in the part/assembly are displayed in the Available Features list box. When you choose a feature from the list, it appears highlighted in the graphics window. Click  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ch_add.gif" border="0"> to add the selected feature to the Applicable Features list for inclusion in the check.

               <p class="para_td">The Applicable Features list box displays the process aid features selected from the Available Features list for the distance check. The distance check will be applicable only to the features displayed in the Applicable Features list box.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Turn this toggle ON to include all the process aid features listed in the Applicable Features list box in the distance check.</p>
               <p class="para_td">You can further refine datum selection for the check by using the Remove button. To remove a feature from the Applicable Features list box, select it and then choose  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ch_rem.gif" border="0">.

               <p class="para_td">Turn this toggle ON to save the Distance Check report in a comma delimited text file. You are prompted to specify the location for the file. This file can be viewed in MS Excel on Windows.</p>
