      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The DFM Advisor Features dialog appears if the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/dfm_dialog.html');return(false);">Analyze All DFM Features</a> box is not selected on the main DFM Advisor dialog. The dialog allows you to select the DFM Features that you want to be analyzed.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the dialog in two ways:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">By selecting a DFM Feature in the selection window. This causes the feature to highlight in the display area, and a vector is displayed to represent the press or cam direction associated with the DFM Feature. If the edges of the sheets of the Die Lineup have a Name Attribute, that name is displayed for Feature Name.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">By selecting an edge in the Die Lineup in the data area. This causes the associated feature name to be highlighted in the selection window.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">This dialog is also useful to determine if the Die Lineup has been created correctly for the part. The dialog selection window shows the number of the Die Operation with which the feature is associated, the internally assigned name for the feature (or Name Attribute if attached to an edge), and the press/cam vector direction required to manufacture that feature.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  DFM Feature names are useful to verify how the system is classifying the features on your panel, and why certain criteria are applied to some features, but not others. For example, the Hole to Hole criteria is only applied to features that are classified as Pierce features. If this criteria is not being applied to holes as you expect, then it is possible that the system is treating the holes as Trim features, instead of Pierce features. To correct this, you need to adjust the Design for Manufacturing customer defaults to indicate a larger threshold between pierce and trim features. In the same way, the DFM Feature names can be used to see if flanges have been correctly identified in the Die Lineup.</p>
