      <p class="para_topic"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_export_module.gif" border="0">The Tools&rarr; Vehicle Manufacturing Automation&rarr; Die Design&rarr; Export Module option lets you specify all module data for a new component. The output is a module feature, with the appropriate part files copied to the library. Most of the dialog behaves identically to the UDF dialogs. The differences are highlighted below.

      <div class="title_division">The Define Module Parameters Dialog Differs From UDF Dialogs in the Following Ways...</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Feature References Prompts contain only WAVE-linked features and can be renamed through the New Prompt entry. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Available Expressions list displays all of the expressions in the part file.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Link/Export Target Prompts allow you to specify both the user prompts for choosing the link or export components and the associated objects for each prompt. This information is used when instantiating a module.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Prefix and Suffix entries enable renaming during the instantiation process. The part files must be renamed to eliminate confusion with the library part files. You should conform to naming lengths and company standards. The prefix should be the prefix of all parts, except for company standard library parts (such as part families, vendor libraries, etc.). The file name can be a maximum of 8 characters, including the prefix and suffix.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can also specify the location of an HTML file that documents the created module.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

               <p class="para_td">Shows all of the WAVE-linked features that need to be resolved in order to place the module when it is added. The default prompt is constructed from the NX Object Type + from + NX Feature Name. To allow name matching, you must change the prompt name.</p>

A suffix is needed only if the module is to be added to the same assembly multiple times with varying input parameter data.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Enter the module's name.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose the library to save the module to.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Choose Capture Image From Graphics Window to display an image of the module.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Enter a New Prompt for a feature reference.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Choose Available Expressions to add to the module definition.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Choose a Module Input Parameter to enter a New Parameter Prompt or choose  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/mod_define_expvals.html');return(false);">Define Value</a> to set a range or list for the Module Input Parameter.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Enter a New Prompt for Link/Export Target Prompts. Choose a Link/Export Prompts with a single click of the mouse button to select, or de-select, associated geometry. A prompt must have one or more objects associated with it.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Choose Remove Target Prompt to delete a Link/Export Target Prompts list item.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the Prefix string to be replaced when adding the module.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the Suffix string to be replaced when adding the module.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the URL document location string to be referenced for specific module documentation when adding the module.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The output includes the entry of the module into the library text file (same as UDF) and the duplication of the part files to the library directory. Note: If &quot;No Library&quot; is used, the part files will not be copied. If the part files already exist in the library directory, the user will need to delete the old files before adding the new module data.</p>
