      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/icon_flange_steel_asst.gif" border="0"> The <b class="uiTerm">Flange Steel Assistant</b> enables you to define the base shapes for multiple flange steels for a given flange profile, all at once. The length of an individual flange steel is determined by dividing the flange profile length between the ends of the flange profile into equal segments, ensuring that the length doesn't exceed the maximum length specified. You can dynamically adjust the shape of the individual flange steels.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Planes are created at appropriate locations and are used as input to the flange steel features created. See <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/flange_steel.html');return(false);">Flange Steel</a> for details about creating these forms.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"> The function is similar to <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/trim_steel_assist.html');return(false);">Trim Steel Assistant</a>, except that with the <b class="uiTerm">Flange Steel Assistant</b>, you can create flange steels. Use the function to create cast flange steel models.
