               <p class="para_td">Selection Steps</p>

               <p class="para_td">Die Operation - Use this selection step to select a DIE_OPERATION feature for the die tip. The DIE_OPERATION feature is created with the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_op_ov.html');return(false);">Die Operation</a> option.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">Product - Use this selection step to select a product part for the die tip.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Origin - Lets you select a point on the product that should correspond to the center of the press. You can use the Snap Point tool to aid in defining a point. The point is defaulted to the centroid of the product snapped to the closest increment indicated by the customer default Rounding Value.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Reference Data - Lets you select data to be stored with the DIE_TIP feature. This data is temporarily displayed in die or product position during task creation and editing.</p>

               <p class="para_td">The Reference Data selection step lets you set the following filter masks: Any, Curve, Face, Sheet Body, Point, and Csys.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Change All Tip Origins</p>

               <p class="para_td">Use this option to propagate the point selected for the product origin to all other Die Tip features in the lineup that also define the tip for this product.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Thickness</p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1" valign="top">
               <p class="para_td">Lets you define the thickness of the sheet metal that is used to manufacture the product. </p>
               <p class="para_td">You have a choice between Uniform and Variable thickness. If you choose uniform thickness you can accept the default value in the Thickness field, or you can enter your own value. If you choose Variable, the Variable Thickness dialog opens to let you define regions on the tipped sheet body and assign a thickness value to each one (see  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_tip_var_thick.html');return(false);">Variable Thickness</a> for details).
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">Within the DOL report, if you have uniform thickness you see only &nbsp;a single entry for the thickness, such as:</p>
               <p class="para_td">--Thickness &nbsp;&nbsp;0.800</p>
               <p class="para_td">If you have variable thickness, you see multiple entries for the thickness, such as:</p>
               <p class="para_td">--Thickness</p>
               <p class="para_td">-- &nbsp;&nbsp;Region 1 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;0.800</p>
               <p class="para_td">-- &nbsp;&nbsp;Region 2 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1.000</p>
               <p class="para_td">This option is available only when the die operation you selected is the first operation in a lineup. This value is used in creating addendum sections and in the DFM Advisor function.</p>
