      </table><br><p class="para_topic"> DOL Assistant lets you generate a complete die lineup in a single step, combining the functions of Die Lineup, Operation, etc. The generated lineup takes into account manufacturing processing rules.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system interrogates the user for input along with the geometry of the product and creates the required die lineup features.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The lineup is defined by your providing the product to be manufactured, the tip for the product, the edge curve(s) that separate flanges from the portion of the product that will be formed in the draw die, and finally an interior face on the product. You have the option of generating as many operations as needed in the die lineup. Use the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/die_proc_asst_dialog.html');return(false);">Trim Angle Variance</a> to group interior trims and holes into trim and pierce tasks that would utilize the same trim/pierce direction. You can also specify that all trims/pierces should be done in the press direction only. You can supply details that are propagated through all the appropriate lineup features.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The output of Lineup Assistant are EXTRACT features and required Die Engineering features. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">If the current work part has a die engineering lineup already defined and you utilize the process assistant with a different product than is in that lineup, the product is added to the existing lineup with all the appropriate tasks defined. You can indicate that the product being added is symmetrical about a defined plane.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The lineup assistant can also automatically read information from the current assembly structure that is used to control the processing for the following items.</p>

            <p class="para_item">The die lineup and associated features are created in the component part, with the part attribute controlled by the Part Attribute customer default. If no component part with this part attribute is found, the lineup is created in the current work part.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The number, size and location of the die operation features within the lineup are determined by pairs of points found within the assembly structure that are attributed with the object attribute title specified by the Object Attribute customer default. Each point in the pair must have the same object attribute. The points indicate the min and max locations of the operation box. The point with the smallest coordinates of all the pairs of points is used as the origin of the lineup. The operation boxes are named the same as the object attribute of the given point pair. If no point pairs are found meeting the given criteria, the number and size of the operations are determined by the dialog selections.</p>
