Each point corresponds to a support rib for the CAM Rotor. Also, the first and last wear plates have a locator to the outside edge. The wear plate pad matches the curvature of the cylindrical face of the rotor on the outside. The locator slot cut in the bottom of the rotor is always cut perpendicular to the press direction, or the base of the lower support, across the rotor. It may or may not be parallel to the base of the throat or in line with the flange direction.

The Pad Orientation normal should point into the Wear Plate surface or rotor; in the latter case, towards the bottom of the rotor. This allows you to define individual pad surfaces. When you highlight a location in the list, the associated values are displayed and can be specified for each child.
