      </table><br><p class="para_topic">This dialog lets you specify inputs to create a lifter clearance area in the lower post. The lifter clearance is created by removing the material from the surface at the solid geometry selected or at the selected profile location, from the plane or profile, or from the placement orientation specified.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can enter this dialog from the main dialog, or by selecting the LIfter Clearance feature in the feature list and choosing the Edit option on the 3rd mouse click.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Procedure</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Use the Clearance Solid selection step to select a solid body that is subtracted from the post casting to get the clearances.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Use the Clearance Profile selection step to select the profile and the location of the lifter. If you select an open profile, the two open end points are connected linearly. This step is also optional for the Clearance Solid selection step.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Use the Placement Orientation selection step to specify a point, CSYS, or plane to determine the actual location plane. If the specified clearance profile is planar, then a point, a CSYS, or a plane can be specified, but if it's non-planar, then only a CSYS or a plane can be specified.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">(Optional) Use the Plane Subfunction to create a plane and assign it to the current selection step. This option is available with the Placement Orientation selection step when the Filter is set to Any, Plane, or Datum Plane.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If an allowance is to be provided on the selected solid body, then enter the value in the Clearance field.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick OK to accept settings and return to the main dialog.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
