The first step for the hole size check is to determine if the object being processed is a standard shape. Note that for objects like a complex hole, each piece is examined to see if it is a standard shape. The following picture contains two partial shapes requiring two separate punches. The first punch will cut the larger rectangle (solid line), and a second punch will cut the smaller rectangle (dashed line) in a different die. This criteria will check both shapes to see if they are standard sizes.
