               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_tprofile_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Trim/Flange Profile </b> &mdash; (Required) Lets you select curves/edges that define the shape of the trim/flange being performed on the product. This profile can be closed or disconnected. If disconnected, then the connecting profiles have to be specified. No belt face will be built for the connecting profiles. The relief wall is extended all the way to the sheet body.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_ins_flange_end_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Flange End Profile</b> &mdash; (Optional)  Lets you select curves/edges that define the end of the flange for the flange steel option.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_borient_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Base Orientation</b> &mdash; (Required) Lets you specify a plane for the base of the steel insert. This plane need not be normal to the trim direction.  The solid is built from the trim profile to this plane.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_srtorient_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Start Orientation</b> &mdash; (Optional) Lets you specify a plane that defines where the steel insert starts along the trim profile, as well as the orientation of the start of the steel insert. If a plane isn't specified, then the steel insert begins at the start of the trim profile, and the orientation of the plane is perpendicular to the profile. In either case, the plane is internally rotated so that it's perpendicular to the base.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_endorient_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">End Orientation</b> &mdash; (Optional) Lets you specify a plane that defines where the steel insert ends along the trim profile, as well as the orientation of the end of the steel insert.  If a plane isn't specified, then the steel insert terminates at the end of the trim profile, and the orientation of the plane is perpendicular to the profile. In either case, the plane is internally rotated so that it's perpendicular to the base.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_bshape_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Back Shape</b> &mdash; (Required) Lets you specify one or more planes that define the shape of the base of the steel insert. This input is optional when the two end planes intersect.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_shtmetl_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal</b> &mdash; (Optional) Lets you specify the sheet body that represents the shape of the sheet metal being trimmed. If you don't input a sheet body, the top face is assumed to be planar and parallel to the <b class="uiTerm">Base Orientation</b>. The largest distance to the trim profile from the Base Orientation plus (+) user input (150 mm default) is used to calculate the position of this top face.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_insert_camdir_ico.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">CAM Direction</b> &mdash; (Optional ) If you don't define a direction, the default direction of &ndash;Z absolute is assumed. 
               </p>

               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/steel_ins_tree_node_ico.gif" border="0"> Lists the optional features (nodes) that can be created on the insert. The <b class="uiTerm">Steel Insert</b> dialog has the following features listed in the tree: 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Steel Insert Parameters</b> &mdash; gives you access to the <b class="uiTerm"><a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/steel_insert_param.html');return(false);">Other Parameters</a></b> dialog, where you can  enter geometric and numeric input that controls the steel insert solid. Double-click on the main node in the Tree List.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Segments</b> &mdash; displays a dialog to define the segment ends for different types of steels along the main profile. The end point can be specified with planes or points and the segment range is from the previous end plane/point to the current end plane/point.                </p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Connecting Profiles</b> &mdash; displays a dialog to define additional connecting profiles for the trim profile. No belt face will be built along these profiles. The relief wall is extended all the way to the sheet body. See <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/diedes_conn_profiles_ov.html');return(false);">Connecting Profiles</a> for more information.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Dowel Holes</b> &mdash; see <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('diedesign/diedes_holeparam.html');return(false);"> Hole Parameters</a> for more information. 
               </p>

               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Pierce Holes</b> &mdash; displays a dialog to define the Pierce Hole and the intended path for the slug to exit.
