            <p class="para_item">In the Modeling application, choose <b class="uiTerm">Tools</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Vehicle Manufacturing Automation</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Die Engineering</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Area Fill</b> to open the <b class="uiTerm">Area Fill</b> dialog box.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Use the <b class="uiTerm">Tipped Product</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/common/tipped_product.gif" border="0"> selection step to select a DIE_TIP feature for which a void area must be filled.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">You can optionally use the <b class="uiTerm">Fill Shape</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/area_fill/fill_shape.gif" border="0"> selection step to specify the shape of the fill area. Select an existing sheet body that exhibits the shape of the area you want to fill.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Specify a boundary that indicates the outline of the fill area. The easiest way to do this is to choose the <b class="uiTerm">Part Region Boundary</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/area_fill/part_region_boundary.gif" border="0"> selection step and just select one edge of the boundary of the void area. The software then chains the remaining edges of the void area, creates a through curve mesh surface with no constraints, and uses it for the fill surface. If you do not want to select the void area to define the boundary you can select other objects to define the outline. The objects you select must form a closed string.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Part Region Boundary</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/area_fill/part_region_boundary.gif" border="0"> selection step is optional if you used the <b class="uiTerm">Fill Shape</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/area_fill/fill_shape.gif" border="0"> selection step to select a sheet body with the desired fill shape.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Use the <b class="uiTerm">Point in Region</b> selection step to specify a reference point that identifies the inside region of the boundary. This step is required only if you used the <b class="uiTerm">Fill Shape</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/area_fill/fill_shape.gif" border="0"> selection step to select a sheet body or surface with the shape of the fill area.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b>. A DIE_AREA_FILL feature consisting of a trimmed sheet body that fills the void area is created.
            </p>

      <div class="title_division">Edit an Area Fill feature</div>
      <p class="para_division">The <b class="uiTerm">Edit</b> dialog box for <b class="uiTerm">Area Fill</b> is the same as the create dialog box, except that a <b class="uiTerm">Tolerance</b> data field is available which you can use to control the sew tolerance. When you first create a DIE_AREA_FILL feature, the tolerance value is taken from the <b class="uiTerm">Distance Tolerance</b> specified in Modeling preferences.
