      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_t_h-point_design_tool.gif" border="0"> Use <b class="uiTerm">H-Point Design Tool</b> (HPD) wizard is used to establish key vehicle reference points for configuring and measuring aspects of the interior automobile compartment. These points include:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">SgRP (seating reference point) for each occupant position.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Heel points (accelerator heel point for the driver, and floor reference points for passengers).</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">The HPD wizard meets the recommendations of SAE J4002 Feb 2004 and applies to both Class A and Class B vehicles. You can create and modify the HPD assembly feature according to the Driver Designated Seating Position Design Procedures and Design Procedures for 2nd or 3rd Row Outboard Seating Positions in the SAE J4002 Feb 2004 Standard.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can also use the HPD wizard to create expressions for all critical input parameters and also edit the expression value to update the feature.   You can edit an HPD feature in any of the following ways:  </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open an existing part containing an HPD feature, modify the feature using the <b class="uiTerm">H-Point Design Tool</b> wizard and then update it.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open an existing part containing an HPD feature and update the feature by changing the expressions.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create a new HPD feature and modify it using the <b class="uiTerm">H-Point Design Tool</b> wizard or by editing the expressions. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create <b class="uiTerm">Vehicle Packaging</b> that contains a special type of HPD feature. 
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
