      <div class="title_division">Description</div>
      <p class="para_division">A valid Typical Cutout is a cutout within the up and down angle limits, (see the <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('dieengr/dfm_trim_cutout_types.html');return(false);"> Trim Cutout Types</a> criteria for definitions of up and down angles), and is between the minimum and maximum cutout sizes.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Purpose</div>
      <p class="para_division">Cutouts larger or smaller than specified limits require additional die maintenance and construction costs.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Computational Method</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Determine if the object is an interior trim object. Any object that is not an interior object will be ignored.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A non-conformance is reported if the circumscribed shape is larger than the Maximum Cutout Size value(?)).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Determine if the object is a standard shape (round, square, rectangle, or oblong). A hex shape is considered non-standard shape for this portion of the check. If the shape is standard, check if it is greater than the minimum size for that cutout type. See the table below</p>

            <p class="para_item">If the shape is irregular (not standard), check if one of the standard shapes (round, square, rectangle or oblong) will fit inside of the irregular shape. When determining if a square or rectangle shape can fit into an irregular shape, a corner radius of Square or Rectangle Corner Radius is used. If the standard shape does not fit inside the irregular shape, a non-conformance is reported. The following diagram contains an irregular shape that is too small to fit a round, square, rectangular, or oblong shape within it. This is a non-conformance.</p>
