      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The Analysis let you specify the type of mirror construction you want and whether you want to certify the mirror or perform a study of it.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The analysis options data includes:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Your changes to default values specified in the standards.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Details about the construction of the mirror (spherical convex or planar), </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Geometrical restrictions that may actually reduce the performance of the mirror.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">An option that accounts for loading of the vehicle.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

               <p class="para_td">Lets you chose a construction type for the rearview mirror, Planar or Convex.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The presence of a passenger side outside mirror on a vehicle can mean different things:</p>
               <ul>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">The interior rearview mirror has failed to meet its field-of-view requirements, in which case the passenger side mirror is mandatory but can be either planar or convex.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item">The mirror is on the vehicle because market forces require it, in which case the radius of curvature can fall outside of the bounds set forth for a &quot;required&quot; mirror.</p>
                  </li>
               </ul>
               <p class="para_td">if you select a convex mirror, the default radius of curvature (ROC) is determined by the chosen standard. The allowable legal limits are also determined by the chosen standard. The system limits are the same no matter which standard is used. </p>
               <p class="para_td">Convex radius values within the legal range of the chosen standard are analyzed as normal. Radius values exceeding the legal range but within the system range are still analyzed for development purposes or for non-required mirrors. In these cases, a warning message is generated within the Options dialog and also added to the Complete Results listing.</p>

            </td>

               <p class="para_td">Lets you specify the convex radius of the curved mirror face. For certification, the range must be between 1200.0 to 999999.0mm. Values beyond this range can be used for study purposes.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Lets you adjust the standard values for the target distance, width, and angle. If selected, you must supply the Target Distance and enter either the value for the Target Width or the Target Angle. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

               <p class="para_td">Lets you specify the distance measured from a standard reference point to a position behind the vehicle at which the driver must be able to see the target width.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Lets you specify the length of a line that must be visible at the target distance behind the vehicle, or the angle at the apex of the triangle that is formed by the sight lines through the mirror.</p>

It is usually defined at the X value of the front axle.                <p class="para_td">Lets you define a rear load point. It marks a point on the rear part of the loaded vehicle body, and is usually defined at the X value of the rear axle.
