      </table><br><p class="para_topic"> Die Lineup lets you identify the product part that is to be processed by Die Engineering. This is the first operation you perform in Die Engineering. Output from this option is a DIE_LINEUP feature.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can execute this function when you have gathered sufficient information for the product part to be manufactured. This is generally after you have defined the necessary geometry and sheet bodies, and assigned them material properties using Tools&gt; Material Properties. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The DIE_LINEUP feature is graphically represented by a rectangular sheet body, which is intended to model the plant floor area covered by the presses in the manufacturing line. The rectangle is created at the WCS origin, with the flow direction along the positive absolute X-axis. The initial size of the rectangle changes later as operations are defined. The DIE_LINEUP feature is directly or indirectly a parent of all other die engineering features.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  You can optionally set up a user exit to allow a User Defined Object (UDO) to be created and attached to the DIE_LINEUP feature.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">If while editing a Die Lineup you add a product to the lineup, then Die Tip features are created for each added product in all existing operations. You can then edit the Die Tip feature to get the orientation desired for the new product.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">If you remove a product from the existing lineup, and add a product, then the system will compare the two products and geometrically map faces and edges from the old to the new product. All the existing tasks in the lineup are edited to change the old edges/faces to the new edges/faces. You are then given the opportunity to review the editing performed and make changes as desired in a task edit dialog.
