The Section Parameters dialog allows you to manually edit the parameters used to define an addendum section. Normally the system assigns these values automatically. However, you can manually override any system value, in which case the parameter is flagged as "constrained." Throughout this process the system continues to analyze the resulting section to ensure that the section is formable according to geometric criteria (for example, backdraft and minimum radii). If not, the system automatically adjusts other unconstrained parameters to bring the section back into a formable condition. The system allows you to lock the parameters of your choice. If you lock a parameter, the present value is maintained as changes are made to other parameters. If you constrain too many parameters, the system may not have sufficient flexibility to ensure good results. In this case a warning is issued.
