      <p class="para_topic">Sub-inserts are used in areas on the core or cavity where intensive wear and tear occurs.&nbsp;They are also used to simplify the manufacture of the core/cavity. A complete sub-insert assembly comprises a sub-insert head and sub-insert foot/body.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">You should create the core and cavity before the sub-insert assembly. A sub-insert assembly can have zero or multiple sub-insert foot/bodies.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When creating a sub-insert, create an envelope to enclose the volume within the core/cavity to be replaced by the sub-insert head.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Positioning</div>
      <p class="para_division">The position of the sub-inserts is parametrically controlled relative to the product model mold coordinate system, MCSYS. If you set the MCSYS to the center of the product model, the position of the sub-insert will also be positioned relative to the center of the product.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Methods for Designing Sub-Inserts</div>
      <p class="para_division">There are two methods for designing sub-inserts:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Insert Envelope (designing and creating a sub-insert)</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Insert Standard Part</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The standard parts method is the preferred method for creating a sub-insert. The user design and creation of sub-inserts, while still possible, is obsolete and strongly discouraged.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Enabling Design and Creation Functionality</div>
      <p class="para_division">The default provided in Mold Wizard for creating a sub-insert is the standard parts method. However, you can alter the Sub-Insert module to also include (or only include) the design and creation functionality. To do this, modify the following option in <b class="uiTerm">Mold Wizard Customer Defaults</b>:
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">MW_InsertMethod: 3</p>
      <p class="para_division">0: Display both methods, default selection is Insert Envelope</p>
      <p class="para_division">1: Display both methods, default selection is Insert Standard Part</p>
      <p class="para_division">2: Display only Envelope</p>
      <p class="para_division">Default installation is 3: Display only Standard Part</p>
