      <p class="para_topic">PDW&nbsp;supports dragging and dropping of drawing templates from the resource bar.&nbsp;</p>
      <p class="para_topic">PDW provides a default palette file. The file is named palette_drawing.pax and is in the .../pdiewizard/drafting/assembly_drawing directory.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The palette file has entries for all the drawing templates provided by PDW. You can customize the palette file to also include your drawing templates. You can also have multiple palette files. For example, you can have a palette file for all metric parts and one for all inch parts. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Copy all your&nbsp;die related palette files to the .../pdiewizard/drafting/assembly_drawing directory.&nbsp;PDW automatically adds all these palettes to the resource bar in the next&nbsp;PDW session.</p>

            <p class="para_item">You can use drag and drop techniques to create master model drawing and views. &nbsp;However, you need to use the PDW Assembly Drawing dialog to control the visibility of components in each view</p>

            <p class="para_item">Template drag and drop does not support section views. &nbsp;There are two ways to create section views:</p>
            <ol type="1" start="1">
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Using the NX drafting application. &nbsp;There is no need to add a section view to the template.</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Using the PDW Assembly Drawing dialog box.  &nbsp;Please refer to the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('pdw/dwg_view.html');return(false);">View</a> topic for more information on this topic.
