      <p class="para_topic">You need to understand how the Mold Base Management System operates before you can customize the mold base library.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The Mold Base Management system performs the following functions:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Registering mold base models into the Mold Wizard library.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Registering mold base database files to control the mold base configurations and dimensions.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Cloning mold base models into Mold Wizard projects.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Editing mold base configurations and dimensions.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Removing mold bases.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Register Files</div>
      <p class="para_division">The options listed in the Catalog and Type pull-down menus in the Mold Base Management dialog are read from the mold base registration file(s).</p>
      <p class="para_division">Mold Wizard uses two types of mold base registration files:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Text register file moldwizard_catalog.txt is used to define catalog name and register spreadsheet.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Register spreadsheet is used to define moldbase type, data file path, template file path, and bitmaps.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The moldwizard_catalog.txt file is located in the top directory of each mold base. The directories English and metric have been added below the Mold Wizard mold base directory to contain the mold base catalogs registered by the text file method. The same file name moldwizard_catalog.txt is used to register each mold base.</p>
      <p class="para_division">A custom mold base catalog may be added to a new Mold Wizard installation by simply copying the directory of the mold base catalog with the moldwizard_catalog.txt file and the register spreadsheet in it.</p>
      <p class="para_division">For an example of a mold base registered by the text file method, examine the interchangeable mold base system located in the English and metric subdirectories of the Mold Wizard mold base directory.</p>
