In NX Drafting , you can be in either the modeling state, with Display Drawing turned off, or the drawing state, with Display Drawing turned on. The Hole Report function automatically identifies the top-most face containing holes. If it doesn't find a top face with holes, it outputs an error message and terminates.

After the origin is defined, you specify the positive direction for dimensioning. The ordinate origin divides the screen into quadrants, and on the Select Origin and View dialog box, you specify the positive quadrants.
