      <div class="title_division">Drawing Creation Overview</div>
      <p class="para_division">To create a die component drawing in Progressive Die Wizard:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Components - select the components for which you need to create component drawing</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Manage Drawings - create, edit, or open drawings for the selected components</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Select Components</div>
      <p class="para_division">In this step, select the components for which you need to create/manage drawings.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When you display the Progressive Die Wizard Component Drawing dialog box, you see a list of all the components in the assembly. You can select one or more components from the list in the dialog or from the graphics screen.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can use Filter Methods to filter the components shown in the list.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Filter Methods</div>
      <div class="title_division">Type</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you click the Type button, the system displays the Select by Type dialog box.  </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">This dialog displays a list of all the component types in Progressive Die Wizard, and it is same as the Progressive Die Wizard Assembly Drawing PDW_COMPONENT_NAME. The list is generated from MW_Drawing_ComponentTypes1 and MW_Drawing_ComponentTypes2 in <b class="uiTerm">Progressive Die Wizard Customer Defaults</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">By default, all types are selected. Select the component types you require and click OK.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system re-displays the Component Drawing dialog box.  The list shows only the components of the selected types.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you click Reset, the list shows all the components in the assembly.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Drawings</div>
      <p class="para_division">Drawings is useful when you have already created drawings for some components and want to edit/open them. If you click the Drawings button:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system searches for the components with drawings. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The list is then modified to show the names of the components with drawings. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you click Reset, the list shows all the components in the assembly.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Color</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you click the Color button, the system displays the Color dialog box. </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the desired color and pick OK.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Component Drawing dialog box, the list is modified to shown the names of the components with the selected color.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you click Reset, the list shows all components in the assembly. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you click Reset again, the filter method is ignored and the list is modified to show the names of all components in the assembly. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>

                  <p class="para_note_body">You cannot combine two filter methods. That is, you cannot show the list of the components that belong to particular type, are a certain color, and have drawings.</p>

      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you select certain component types, the list shows the components belonging to those types.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">But if you click Drawings, the earlier filter method is ignored. The list shows the components with drawings, irrespective of type.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you click Color, again the earlier filter method is ignored. The list shows the components of a particular color, irrespective of type and whether they have drawings or not.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Select All</div>
      <p class="para_division">Select All selects all components shown in the list. You can deselect any component.</p>
      <div class="title_division">All But Selected</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you select a couple of components, and then pick the All But Selected button, the selected components are deselected; the remaining components in the list are selected. You can deselect any component.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Once you select one or more components, you can go to the next step of managing the drawing.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Manage Drawing</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can create/edit/open drawings for the components you've selected.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Component Names option menu displays the names of all the components selected.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Drawing File option menu displays the options available for creating the drawing. Progressive Die Wizard allows you to create two types of drawings:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Self Contained Drawings</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Master Model drawings</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The default is master model drawings. </p>
      <p class="para_division">The Drawing File option menu shows:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The default name of the master model drawing. The extension _dwg is attached to the component name. For example, if the component name is case_2_00_plate_a_1_0073, then the default master model file name will be case_2_00_plate_a_1_0073_dwg</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Self Contained creates the drawing in the component part itself.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Specify File when you wish to create a master model drawing but would like to give it your own name. The Open Part File dialog lets you enter the directory and name of the master model part file. If you enter the existing part file name, the system checks if the part file is the master model of the particular component. If it isn't, it displays an error message and prompts you to select a different part file.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The Drawing Names option menu shows all the drawings in the particular component. Create New lets you create new drawings. If there are no drawings in the component part, then only Create New is shown.</p>
      <p class="para_division">New Drawing Name allows you to enter the name of the new drawing for the component. The default drawing name is die_draw1 when there are no drawings. If there are drawings, the default drawing name is the name of the last drawing (as shown in the Drawing Names option menu) with the number incremented. For example, if a component has drawings SHT1, SHT2, then the New Drawing Name will show SHT3. This option is only available when you pick Create New.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Template Names option menu displays the available templates for a component drawing. If the component part is in inches, the menu shows the inch templates; if the component part is in metric, the menu shows the metric templates. You cannot use metric templates for an inch part and vice versa.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Views list displays a list of the views in the particular template. You can pick one or more of the views.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Create Drawing</div>
      <div class="title_division">Create </div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the component from the Component Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose the master model file or Self Contained from the Drawing File option menu or accept the default.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose Create New from the Drawing Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter a drawing name in New Drawing Name field or accept the default name.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick a template (or accept the default) from the Template Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the views (or accept the defaults) from the Views list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Create.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system creates the drawing for the component. The display then changes to that drawing.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Repeat steps 1-8 for all the components selected.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Create All</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick master a model file or Self Contained from the Drawing File option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick Create New from the Drawing Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the drawing name (or accept the default) in the New Drawing Name string.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the template (or accept the default) from the Template Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the views (or accept the default) from the View list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick Create All.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system creates the drawings based on the rules below.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Drawing Creation Rules</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you select a master model file name, the system uses the default master model file name for the component. If you had already created a master model drawing for this component and are creating a new drawing, the system uses this master model file for the new drawing.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you pick Self Contained, the system uses the component part for creating the new drawing</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system then uses the drawing name entered in the New Drawing Name string.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">It uses the template name selected from the Template Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">It uses the views picked from the Views list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">It then creates the drawing for the component.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system repeats steps 1-6 for each component in the Component Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Edit Drawing</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the component from the Component Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the master model file name or Self Contained from the Drawing File option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the drawing name from the Drawing Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the new template name from the Template Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Edit.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system edits the drawing using the new template. The size of the drawing is modified according to the new template. The views are adjusted to the new position. The display is set to the selected drawing.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Open Drawing</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the component from the Component Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the master model file name or Self Contained from the Drawing File option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the drawing name from the Drawing Names option menu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Open.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The system opens the selected drawing.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Exiting the dialog</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click OK or Cancel to exit the dialog box. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you select Keep Drawing Open, the last created/edited/opened drawing is kept open and you exit the dialog box.  &nbsp;The system returns to the top part in the assembly and you exit the dialog box. </p>
