      <p class="para_topic">In this example, you want to create three weld points between the right faces of this part by mirroring selected weld points from the left side. The red arrow points at the existing weld points on the left side.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/toolbars/wizards/weld_assistant/weld_point.gif" border="0"> in the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Assistant</b> toolbar (or choose <b class="uiTerm">Insert</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Welding</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b>) to open the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> dialog box.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Set <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> to the type of spot weld that you want.

            <p class="para_item">Set <b class="uiTerm">Method</b> to <b class="uiTerm">Mirror</b>.

To select multiple points from anywhere in the list, hold &lt;Ctrl&gt; and click the points you want.

            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Specify Plane</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/weld_point/specify_plane.gif" border="0"> and define the plane where you want to mirror the selected weld points.

            <p class="para_item">You can select an existing plane in the graphics window, use the options in the <b class="uiTerm">Specify Plane</b> menu, or click <b class="uiTerm">Plane Constructor</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/gateway/common/plane_dialog.gif" border="0"> to open the <b class="uiTerm">Plane</b> dialog box.             <p class="para_item">In <b class="uiTerm">Output Type</b>, specify whether your weld points should be <b class="uiTerm">Associative</b> (and update when their parent weld point changes) or <b class="uiTerm">Fixed</b> (not be affected by changes to the parent weld point).

                        <p class="para_note_body">Associative mirrored points cannot move independently of their parent weld points. Moving a parent weld point opens the <b class="uiTerm">Edit during Update</b> dialog box. You can move both the parent and the mirrored point, undo the change to both points, or edit the mirrored point to break the associativity so the points can move independently.
                        </p>
                        <p class="para_note_body">Fixed mirrored points are treated as individual points that share no relationship after creation.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Also, the <b class="uiTerm">Display Weld CSYS</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Add Characteristics</b> options appear in the <b class="uiTerm">Visualize/Edit</b> group of the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> dialog box.

            <p class="para_item">(Optional. Applies only to fixed weld points) You can modify the previewed weld points as desired by performing one or more of the following:</p>

               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Double-click a weld point's dynamic input box in the graphics window and enter new values</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Display Weld CSYS</b> and modify a weld point's CSYS
                  </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Add attributes to a weld point by clicking <b class="uiTerm">Add Characteristics</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/weld_point/add_characteristics.gif" border="0"> to open the <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('weldassistant/weld_characteristics.html');return(false);"><b class="uiTerm">Weld Characteristics</b></a> dialog box.

            <p class="para_item">In the example, the weld point is being dragged in the graphics window. Notice the red diamonds that mark end points and the mid point of the edge. You can snap to any of these points if you want.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Specify whether you want the <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('weldassistant/face_finder.html');return(false);"><b class="uiTerm">Connected Face Finder</b></a> to run when the points are generated.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Connected Face Finder</b> locates the nearest faces on components adjoining fixed spot welds and adds the appropriate connected parts information to the spot weld.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> to create the weld points.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">In the example, notice the three mirrored weld points on the right side.</p>
