            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Utilities</b>&mdash;<b class="uiTerm">Customer Defaults</b> to open the <b class="uiTerm">Customer Defaults</b> dialog box.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">Weld Assistant</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Custom Weld Points</b>, and then click one of the custom tabs.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Specify the <b class="uiTerm">Joint Name</b> (such as Rivet) for your custom weld point.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Use Group ID</b> check box if you want to use the <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('weldassistant/insrt_weld_asign.html');return(false);">Group ID</a> in your custom weld.

                        <p class="para_note_body">All weld points participating in the tolerance function are totaled when the tolerance value is calculated, regardless of whether or not they are the same type of weld point.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Select the <b class="uiTerm">Use Tolerance</b> check box if you want to use the tolerance (see step 10) in your custom weld.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Under <b class="uiTerm">Output Solid</b>, select one of the four options to define the weld point display.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">If you select <b class="uiTerm">None</b>, the symbol defined in <b class="uiTerm">Characteristics</b> (see step 11) is used.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">If you select <b class="uiTerm">Sphere</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Cone</b>, that type of solid body is created as the weld point representation. Steps 7&ndash;9 define the solid body's parameters.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">If your <b class="uiTerm">Output Solid</b> is <b class="uiTerm">Sphere</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Cone</b>, specify the <b class="uiTerm">Sphere, Cylinder, and Cone Diameter</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If your <b class="uiTerm">Output Type</b> is <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder</b>, specify the <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder above Height</b>.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Cylinder above Height</b> is the height the output cylinder should be above your first face set.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If your <b class="uiTerm">Output Type</b> is <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder</b>, specify the <b class="uiTerm">Cylinder Total Height</b>.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Cylinder Total Height</b> is the cylinder height below your first face set plus the cylinder height above the first face set.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you selected <b class="uiTerm">Use Tolerance</b> in step 5, define the <b class="uiTerm">Tolerance</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Characteristics</b> list box, define the characteristics and attributes for your custom weld point.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the <b class="uiTerm">Menu List Order</b> tab.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Type a positive number in the boxes for each weld type that you want to appear in the <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> list in the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> dialog box.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The number specifies where that weld appears in the <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> list.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose <b class="uiTerm">OK</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Apply</b> to create your custom weld point definition.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">Joint Name</b> defined in step 3 now appears in the <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> menu of the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> dialog box. You can create this custom type of weld point as you would any other weld point.
            </p>
