                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Single</b> &mdash; Creates weld points one at a time, as defined by the <b class="uiTerm">Selection Bar</b> toolbar or <b class="uiTerm">Point</b> dialog box. You must specify a reference sheet or set <b class="uiTerm">Reference Sheet</b> to <b class="uiTerm">None</b>.

                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Mirror</b> &mdash; Creates weld points by mirroring the input points about a specified plane.

                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Translate</b> &mdash; Creates weld points by translating the input points as specified. You must select weld points, and specify a coordinate system and offset values.

                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Overlap</b> &mdash; The reference sheet consists of the overlapping region of selected faces.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Top</b> &mdash; The reference sheet is created by sewing the faces in the first face set together. Other faces sets are used only to gather the connected parts information.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">None</b> &mdash; The determination of the weld point location uses no reference sheet. NX uses the face sets only to determine the connected parts information. This option is available only when <b class="uiTerm">Method</b> is <b class="uiTerm">Single</b>.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                  </ul>

                  <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Guide Curves</b></p>

                  <p class="para_td">Available only when <b class="uiTerm">Method</b> is <b class="uiTerm">Multiple</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Single</b>.
                  </p>
                  <p class="para_td">The <b class="uiTerm">Guide Curves</b> options <b class="uiTerm">Select Curve</b> (multiple) or <b class="uiTerm">Specify Point</b> (single) generate the reference sheets that you defined with the <b class="uiTerm">Face Sets</b> options. Your selected face sets may generate multiple reference sheets.
                  </p>
                  <p class="para_td">Also, when you create multiple weld points, you select the guide curves that you need for the operation from the reference sheet.</p>
               </td>

                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Offset from Edge</b> &mdash; Offsets edges you select from the reference sheet to define the guide curve.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                     <li>
                        <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Center Line</b> &mdash; Creates a centerline between two curves you select from the reference sheet. This centerline acts as the guide curve.
                        </p>
                     </li>
                  </ul>

                  <p class="para_td">Shows the generated reference sheets. Each reference sheet used to locate weld points has its own guide curve.</p>
                  <p class="para_td">An example reference sheet in the <b class="uiTerm">List</b> box is &ldquo;Sheet1 3 0&rdquo;. This means that Sheet1 has 3 selected curves to offset. The second number is used only for centerline guide curves to show the number of curves for the second selected edge. (In this example, the guide curve is not a centerline.)
                  </p>

                  <p class="para_td">You can change the <b class="uiTerm">Distance from Start</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Distance from End</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">Offset Distance</b> by using the sliders in the graphics window, double-clicking the dynamic input box in the graphics window and entering a value, or by entering values in the <b class="uiTerm">Weld Point</b> dialog box.
                  </p>
               </td>

NX adjusts the last point as necessary to meet your specified <b class="uiTerm">Spacing</b>, overruling your specified <b class="uiTerm">Distance from End</b> if there is a conflict.
                  </p>
                  <p class="para_td">You must specify either <b class="uiTerm">Spacing</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Number</b>. Selection of one option deactivates the other.
                  </p>
               </td>
