      <p class="para_topic">Use Blank Generator to create blanks in your project once you've completed project initialization. </p>

      <p class="para_topic">Using Blank Generator, you can:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Unform parts with sheet metal features.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Insert a blank from a file.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a blank body from the sheet metal part.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Update a blank.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Remove a blank.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Reposition a blank.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

      <p class="para_division">To display the Blank Generator dialog:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Pick the Blank Generator button from the toolbar</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">or</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose Tools&rarr;Progressive Die Wizard&rarr; Blank Generator</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">The Blank Generator dialog has three tabs:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Edit</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Tools</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Create</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Create tab lets you create sheet metal parts in a blank or import parts as blanks. </p>
      <p class="para_division">To generate a part with sheet metal features into a blank: </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a part in the part option list, then click the <b class="uiTerm">Unform Sheet Metal Features</b> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_d_blank_gen_unform_parts.gif" border="0"> button
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">To import a part as a blank:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a part in the part option list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the <b class="uiTerm">Import Blank Body</b> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_d_blank_gen_impoort.gif" border="0"> button.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">The system imports the part file as a blank. The blank is related to the selected part.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To select a blank body from a sheet metal part:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the <b class="uiTerm">Select Blank Body From Sheet Metal Part</b> <img align="bottom" src="graphics/ico_d_blank_gen_select.gif" border="0"> button.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a planar face of the blank body.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Edit</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Edit tab lets you update or remove a blank.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To update a blank:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a blank in the blank option list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the Update button.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">To remove a blank:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a blank in the blank option list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the Remove button.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Tools</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Tools tab enables you to reposition a blank.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Click the Reposition Blank button. The Reposition Blank dialog displays, providing the following three methods to reposition a blank:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Face and Edge method: Select a face, an edge and a point on the edge to reposition the added blank.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Edge and Point method: Select an edge and two points to reposition the blank.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Points method: Select three points to reposition the blank.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">Generally, if you generate a blank using the unform method, you do not need to reposition it. If you generate a blank using the import method, you should reposition it to keep its orientation and origin the same as its related part. </p>
