      <p class="para_topic">To load a new version of the product model:</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click <b class="uiTerm">Swap Model</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/wizards/parting_manager/swap_model.gif" border="0"> in the <b class="uiTerm">Parting Manager</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Open Part File</b> dialog box, navigate to the new product model and click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the <b class="uiTerm">Swap Settings</b> dialog box, confirm <b class="uiTerm">Compare and Match UI</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Remove Parting Features</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Compare Tolerance</b> choices and click <b class="uiTerm">OK</b>.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">If you select <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/images/check_box_on.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Compare and Match UI</b>, you can use the <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('moldwizard/part_compare_models.html');return(false);"><b class="uiTerm">Model Comparison</b> dialog box</a> before completing the swap.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">After the replacement update has been completed successfully, a message is displayed to indicate that the swap was successful. In addition, informational message is also provided to alert the users to complete the update process by going to the Part Navigator to make the last feature the current feature.  During swapping, the first feature in the Part Navigator is made the current feature to avoid many of the potential update failures. After swapping is completed, it is required to make the last feature in the Part Navigator tree the current feature to complete the entire update process. This process will allow users to have a chance to inspect the update failure of each feature individually if failure does happen. If the swap function failed, a swap failure message is displayed instead, and an UNDO occurs. .</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Edit parting lines, parting surfaces, and patch surfaces.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Update parting.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Load a New Version of the Product Model</div>
      <p class="para_division">After the swap has been completed, the new version of the product model that was just loaded can be found in the parting part. (Check product model in layer 1.)</p>
      <p class="para_division">The swap function automatically performs the following operations:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Suppress cavity/core regions and downstream features that relate to the cavity/core regions (such as mold trim, slider head trim, inject pin trim, subinsert trim, etc.).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Process invalid parting features.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Parting Line</div>
      <p class="para_division">Invalid parting lines are deleted.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Patch Surface</div>
      <p class="para_division">Invalid patch surfaces are deleted.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Solid Patch</div>
      <p class="para_division">The unite features between the product solid and patch solids are removed. Patch solids need to be trimmed with faces of the new product solid and united with the new product solid again with the Solid Patch function in the Mold Wizard Tools.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Parting Surface</div>
      <p class="para_division">Invalid parting surfaces are deleted.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Other NX features in Mold Assembly</div>
      <p class="para_division">Invalid NX features are marked with an out-of-date designation (can be seen in Part Navigator). You can fix them or delete them manually.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Edit Parting Lines, Parting Surfaces, and Patch Surfaces</div>
      <div class="title_division">Edit parting lines </div>
      <p class="para_division">When there are changes in parting lines in the new product solid, use the Parting Lines&rarr;Edit Parting Lines function. Edit transition objects, if necessary. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Edit parting surfaces</div>
      <p class="para_division">Use Parting Surfaces &rarr; Edit Parting Surfaces function to create new parting surfaces from the new parting lines.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Create patch surfaces on the new added holes</div>
      <p class="para_division">Use patch functions in Mold Wizard Tools (edge/surface patch) to patch the new added holes.</p>
