      </table><br><p class="para_topic">A die strip layout is required for every progressive die. Use <b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/toolbars/wizards/progressive_die_wizard/strip_layout.gif" border="0"> to create that layout by setting the number of stations, assigning scrap and processes to specific stations, then simulating the forming of the sheet metal part. You can also arrange the design features and processes you defined in <b class="uiTerm">Feature Pre-Process</b> and even define new processes by choosing faces from solid bodies or sheet bodies.  
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b> enables the body and part families in a metal strip to maintain associations with the original sheet metal part, so you can make changes to a die design by modifying its associated parts. Even clearing a simulation will not remove body or part family associations.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you lay out all the processes in <b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b>:
      </p>

            <p class="para_item">Each process in the strip layout is represented by sheet bodies. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Undefined features are collected and set as a process to be formed in one station. </p>

      <p class="para_topic">You choose either<b class="uiTerm"> Single View</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Three Views </b>in the <b class="uiTerm">Customer Defaults</b> dialog box. Choose <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Utilities</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Customer Defaults</b>. Then, in the <b class="uiTerm">Customer Defaults</b> dialog box, choose <b class="uiTerm">Progressive Die Wizard</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Strip Layout</b>.
