      <p class="para_topic">EDM (Electro Discharge Machining) is used to produce mold cavity features that are impractical or impossible to machine with milling cutters. </p>

      <p class="para_topic">There are two methods for creating electrodes:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Insert Standard Part</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Insert Electrode (designing and creating an electrode)</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">The standard part method is the preferred method for creating an electrode. The user design and creation of electrodes (Insert Electrode), while still possible, is obsolete and strongly discouraged. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Enabling Design and Creation Functionality</div>
      <p class="para_division">The default provided in Mold Wizard for creating an electrode is the standard parts method. However, you can alter the Electrode module to also include (or only include) the Insert Electrode functionality. To do this, modify the following option in <b class="uiTerm">Mold Wizard Customer Defaults</b>:
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">MW_ElectrodeMethod: 3</p>
      <p class="para_division">0: Display both methods, default selection is Insert Electrode</p>
      <p class="para_division">1: Display both methods, default selection is Standard Part</p>
      <p class="para_division">2: Display only Insert Electrode</p>
      <p class="para_division">Default installation is 3: Display only Standard Part</p>
