      <p class="para_topic">The cooling baffle auto functionality automatically calculates the length of the hole in the target component when you're installing a cooling baffle. The function automatically measures the distance to the cavity or core surface, considers a clearance distance, and adjusts the length of the hole and baffle accordingly.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Installation</div>
      <p class="para_division">When installing a cooling baffle, after placement, a dialog is displayed prompting you to specify &quot;core side&quot; or &quot;cavity side.&quot; Your input determines which parting and molding surface set is used to determine the length of the hole and baffle.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Clearance Value</div>
      <p class="para_division">The clearance value used to determine the length of the cooling hole and baffle is specified by the variables MW_CoolingBaffleAxialClearance and MW_CoolingBaffleRadialClearance. The value for the clearance is always metric. Inch mold projects convert this value into inch units. The variables are located in t<b class="uiTerm">Mold Wizard Customer Defaults</b>.
