Die Validation simulates the motion of die components and stamped sheet metal parts within a press line. You can run Die Validation after the die design is complete, to verify if the major castings move correctly without collision. You can also run Die Validation early in the die engineering process, that is, before designing the castings, to validate the intended manufacturing process for the product part.

You can mount die castings, standard parts, cams, and other die components on a press model, and visually verify the motion of the press to identify the components that collide with one another. Virtual detection and correction of collisions early in the design cycle eliminates the need to build proof dies to verify the motion and greatly reduces your time and expenditure for creating dies.
