      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The Materials and Textures environment resides primarily in the Resource Bar and provides immediate access to a wide range of materials. The Resource Bar provides access to:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">a pre-defined palette of materials </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">a user's working palette of materials </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Lightworks and third-party supplier archive libraries of materials </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">The Materials and Textures environment provides:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">an easy-to-use material editor </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">thumbnails for all material entries on palettes </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">material previewing </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">drag and drop support from palettes to the model </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">To follow suit with Lightworks direction of providing a material with texture attributes, NX combines Materials and Textures. This simplifies the user interface and aligns us with all archive library entries provided by Lightworks and their affiliated third-party library suppliers.</p>
