      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">By Objects</b> drop-down menu gives you access to <b class="uiTerm">By Three Points</b>, <b class="uiTerm">By Objects</b>, and <b class="uiTerm">By Screen Points</b>.

      <p class="para_topic">After you make your first object (or two points) selection, the software provides a dynamic display of the ruler as you move the mouse.</p>

      <p class="para_division"><b class="uiTerm">By Objects</b> provides for selection of objects such as curve, edge, face, datum plane and datum axis.

      <p class="para_division">Use <b class="uiTerm">By Screen Points</b> to obtain the measure of an angle on the screen.  Note that you should use <b class="uiTerm">By Screen Points</b> just for informational purposes.  You cannot save the measurement because the point you pick on the screen has no association with the geometry.
