      </table><br><p class="para_topic">To create new commands, you must have the <b class="uiTerm">Customize</b> dialog open. Go to <b class="uiTerm">Tools</b> &rarr; <b class="uiTerm">Customize</b> dialog and click the <b class="uiTerm">Commands</b> tab.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Select <b class="uiTerm">New Button</b> from the <b class="uiTerm">Categories</b> list box. The <b class="uiTerm">Commands</b> list box displays <b class="uiTerm">New User Command</b>.  To create new commands, you must first create a button for the command, and then associate a command with this button.

            <p class="para_item">Create a command button by dragging <b class="uiTerm">New User Command</b> to any location on the menu bar or toolbars. 
            </p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Associate a command to the button you just created by clicking MB3 over the button.  A drop down menu appears with the following options.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">We recommend that you create new commands on your custom toolbars to prevent <b class="uiTerm">Reset</b> from removing your command from a built-in toolbar or menu bar.

                  <p class="para_note_body">If you intend to launch a Knowledge Fusion application using the <b class="uiTerm">New User Command</b>, do the following. In the <b class="uiTerm">Button Action</b> dialog box that appears when you choose <b class="uiTerm">Edit Action</b>, select <b class="uiTerm">KF Application</b> from the <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> list and in the <b class="uiTerm">Enter an Action or Use Browse</b> box, add the KF class name only. Do not add the full path to the corresponding DFA file. Before you can use the <b class="uiTerm">User Command</b> button to launch the KF application you want, the corresponding KF class must be loaded. To load a KF class, choose <b class="uiTerm">Preferences</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Knowledge Fusion</b> and use the <b class="uiTerm">Knowledge Fusion Preferences</b> dialog box, or use an environment variable like UGII_SITE_DIR, UGII_USER_DIR.
