      <p class="para_topic"> Assign certain types of information to parts and geometry, including solids, faces, and edges. You can assign attributes to the components of assemblies, and use the information to generate a parts list. You can also list and compare assigned information.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Attribute Categories</div>
      <p class="para_division"> There are two general categories of attributes:  <em>system</em> and <em> user-defined</em>:
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">System Attributes</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Globally recognized characteristics, such as color, font, width, layer, name, and group name, are called system attributes. You can assign all system attributes, except name, through various options not associated with the Attributes function.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> User-Defined Attributes</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Assign specific information, meaningful in your particular application, to most objects and parts. This category is divided into two types:  <em>Object Attribute</em> and  <em>Part Attribute</em>:
