      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Cameras relate to the Modeling view as follows:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Each modeling view references a single camera.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> When you convert a pre-NX 5 part, NX creates a camera from each modeling view.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you create a new part,  NX creates a camera for each of the predefined modeling views.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you create a new modeling view using <b class="uiTerm">View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Operation</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Save As</b>, or using <b class="uiTerm">File</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Import</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Part</b> or using any other method, NX creates a camera for the new modeling view.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you make changes to a view's parameters (such as by rotation, zoom or fit) and the <b class="uiTerm">Camera</b> dialog is not present, the changes to the view's parameters are not immediately applied to the camera.  Rather, the camera and the view become Out-of-Sync.  This status is indicated by the out-of-date icon <img align="bottom" src="graphics/out_of_sync.gif" border="0">next to the camera's name in the Part Navigator, and by Yes in the Out of Date column of the Part Navigator.  
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">To update the camera of the work view with the work view's parameters, use the <b class="uiTerm">Capture View</b> option of the <b class="uiTerm">View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Camera</b> menu.  To update any camera with the work view's parameters, right-click on the camera's name in the Part Navigator and  choose <b class="uiTerm">Capture View</b>.
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">To restore the view to the parameters of the camera, right-click on the camera's name in the list and choose <b class="uiTerm">Activate</b> (the default), or choose <b class="uiTerm">Activate</b> from the <b class="uiTerm">View</b>&rarr;<b class="uiTerm">Camera</b> menu. <b class="uiTerm">Edit Parameters</b> also performs the Activate function and then the Camera dialog appears to let you edit the camera.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">While the <b class="uiTerm">Camera dialog</b> is displayed, the camera and the work view are kept in sync, so that changes to the work view parameters are reflected in the <b class="uiTerm">Camera</b> dialog. Conversely, changes to the <b class="uiTerm">Camera</b> dialog are reflected in the view shown in the upper right corner of the graphics window.
