      <p class="para_topic"> Use Name to select an individual object or a range of objects by entering an assigned name. The system selects all objects with the specified name that satisfy the same selectable tests as selecting with the cursor (i.e., Type, Visibility, Layer, etc).</p>
      <p class="para_topic"> Depending on the application, you may also be able to select:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> an invisible object</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> an otherwise non-selectable object</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item"> an object on a non-current layout or drawing (i.e., with Information&rarr;Object). </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic"> The status line indicates what is being selected. In this case, the selection still has to satisfy the current setting of the type filter.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Using Wildcards</div>
      <p class="para_division"> To select a range of objects, substitute the following wildcards for literal characters:</p>
