      <p class="para_topic">Use <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> to control whether NX should search for the latest component according to version rules, or look for the exact match.

                  <p class="para_note_body">The <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> option appears only if you define the Part Name Version customer defaults and set <b class="uiTerm">Load</b> (in the <b class="uiTerm">Part Versions</b> group of the <b class="uiTerm">Assembly Load Options</b> dialog box) to <b class="uiTerm">From Folder</b> or <b class="uiTerm">From Search Folders</b>.

      <p class="para_topic">If the <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> check box is not selected, NX loads the assembly with the same component versions as it was saved with.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">If you select the <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> check box, NX uses the specified rules that you defined in the Part Name Version customer defaults. NX looks at all part names that match the `core' portion of the part name and selects the latest based on those version rules. When using search directories, NX applies this rule for each directory in turn. If it matches a component name in a directory, it does not look for later versions in subsequent directories.

                  <p class="para_warning_body"> As with other load options, NX matches any valid parts already loaded in the session, irrespective of the current load options. Therefore, if assembly a_1.prt has component b_2.prt, but b_1.prt is already loaded at the time a_1 is loaded, assembly a_1.prt will refer to b_1.prt even if <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> is specified and b_2.prt is within the scope of the specified load options.
                  </p>
                  <p class="para_warning_body">If you do not use the <b class="uiTerm">Load Latest</b> option, NX uses the version of the component referenced by the assembly being loaded, even when a subassembly has been saved referencing a different version. For example, consider assembly a_1.prt, which was last saved with component b_1.prt which, in turn, had component c_1.prt. If b_1.prt is now saved while referencing c_2.prt, when you load a_1.prt in a new NX session, c_1.prt is loaded as a component of b_1.prt. In order to get c_2.prt, you must load the subassembly b_1.prt before you load the top assembly a_1.prt.
