      <p class="para_topic">Although the way &ldquo;sheet bodies&rdquo; and &ldquo;solid bodies&rdquo; are stored in .prt files is different in NX than I-deas, the same basic surface methods are used in NX as in I-deas.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create surfaces from 3D wireframe curves.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Create solids by thickening surfaces or sewing surfaces into a closed volume.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Boolean operations between surfaces and solids.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">An NX .prt file can contain multiple sheet bodies and solid bodies at the same time. Curves and sheet body construction tools will usually be kept on separate layers from the final solid model.</p>
