V14 and subsequent versions no longer use the 10.ugf font library. To use your customized font files from V13.0 or earlier, you must migrate these files to the current release using the ugfontc utility. Note that you do not have to migrate font files that you have not customized.

Font files that you customized in V13.0 or prior releases must be migrated to the current release. The procedure for migrating and editing is similar. In both cases you must disassemble the binary font file. This produces a font source file. When performing a pure migration, you do not perform any edits on the font source file; instead you compile the file into a binary font file and place it in the correct directory. To customize a font file you disassemble the file and then edit the font source file. After you complete your edits, you compile the font source file into a binary font file and move it to the correct directory. You can use the following steps to either migrate or edit font files.

Disassemble the binary font file with one of the following commands (UNIX commands are shown, see the ugfontc help on your platform for platform specific usage). Note that options in angle braces are optional.
