      <p class="para_topic">The Show option controls how the active lights are displayed in the graphics window. Options are Selected Light, which is the light whose name displays in the Name text field, All Lights or No Lights. When a light is displayed in the graphics window, it's represented by an object. These objects are shown in the figure below.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  Ambient and Eye Lights do not have objects to represent them in the Graphics Window. Ambient light has no position or direction, and an Eye light is located directly along the Z-axis, relative to the screen, at a position where the user is located, so neither can be displayed in the Graphics Window.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  The light objects are affected by the work view's  clipping planes. If you don't see a light object, especially positional lights like Point and Spot type lights, it may not be visible because it's located outside of the view's clipping planes. To see it, it's easiest to move the light to a position closer to the model using the Point Constructor. But you can also move the clipping planes if the light required are to be positioned past the current clipping planes.</p>
