      </table><br><p class="para_topic">At any time after you add a plot to the plot layout, you can </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Plot the plot layout.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Save the CGM file that represents the plot layout with a file name you specify. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">The Plot Layout dialog automatically changes the plot source to the plot layout file when you return to the File -&rarr; Plot dialog.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Plotting or Saving the Plot Layout</div>
      <p class="para_division">To send the plot layout to a printer:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Make sure the plot source is set to Plot Layout.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Plot button.  </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">To save the plot layout to a CGM file, select the Save CGM file button.  </p>
      <p class="para_division">Once you print or save the plot layout, the plot layout closes.  If you want to discard the Plot layout, select the Clear Plot Layout button at any time.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If you do not plot, save, or clear the plot layout, its contents remain undisturbed, and the system discards them only when you terminate the NX session. In particular, you can plot individual display images and drawing sheets for any part without affecting the plot layout.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Changing Your Plot Location</div>
      <p class="para_division">If NX computes an unsuitable initial location for a plot you are adding to the plot layout:  </p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the coordinates of the desired location. </p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">The coordinates must be non-negative. </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">The Plot Layout dialog shows the coordinates of plots previously added to the plot layout for reference.  </p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Consider these coordinates in computing a location for the new plot.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Adding Multiple Instances of The Same Plot</div>
      <p class="para_division">To add multiple instances of a plot to the plot layout: </p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click Apply in the Plot Layout dialog.  </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Do this for each additional instance. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">The Apply operation adds the plot to the layout and then computes an initial location for the next instance of the same plot.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">If you apply a banner to plot output, the banner is applied once to the plot layout when it is plotted or saved. The banner is not applied to individual plots as they are added to the plot layout.</p>
