      <p class="para_topic"> You can create pattern points anywhere in the pattern master part file. These pattern points become the control points for the pattern object referencing that pattern master part file. They can be used to manipulate or to dimension the pattern object.</p>
      <div class="title_division">In the Pattern Master Part File</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Pattern points are marked in the pattern master part file by a pound &quot;#&quot; sign in the current object color. You can also control the display of the pattern points via blanking, moving between layers in the pattern master part file.</p>
      <div class="title_division">In the Current Part File</div>
      <p class="para_division"> Control points of a pattern object are like all other object control points, except that they can be displayed. Control points are displayed in the current pattern object color, regardless of the color in which they were created in the pattern master part file. Note that you can use pattern control points even if they are not displayed.</p>
      <p class="para_division"> You can control the display of the control points by using Pattern Display Parameters during pattern retrieval, or by using Edit Display Parameters.</p>
