      <p class="para_topic">On platforms running Windows, Edit&rarr;Copy Display copies an image of the contents of the NX graphics window to the Windows clipboard. You can then copy the image from the clipboard to a Windows document.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Using Copy Display</div>

            <p class="para_item">Display the graphics window in the exact way that you want it to appear when you copy it to the clipboard. To accomplish this, use any of the standard NX methods, such as Zoom, Pan, Rotate Expand, and, in the Drafting module, Open Drawing. You can also resize the graphics window to the size you want.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Select Edit&rarr;Copy Display. NX generates an Enhanced Metafile, which includes the full contents of the NX Graphics window, and copies it to the Windows clipboard. If you set the graphics window to wireframe, the Edit&rarr;Copy Display operation copies a vector image. If you set the graphics window to shaded, the Edit&rarr;Copy Display operation copies a raster image. For example, the operation will copy the WCS, background color, and grid dots to the clipboard and pasted to the Windows document.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Open a Windows document and click Edit&rarr;Paste Special&rarr;Picture (Enhanced Metafile).</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">The output file format of the NX Edit&rarr;Copy Display option is always Enhanced Metafile, not Windows Metafile. When you paste an Enhanced Metafile into a Microsoft document, to get the best quality graphic, we recommend that you use the Edit&rarr;Paste Special&rarr;Picture (Enhanced Metafile) option. There are known problems when you paste non-solid line fonts using the Windows Edit&rarr;Paste and other Edit&rarr;Paste Special&rarr;Picture functions. </p>
