      <p class="para_topic">A system administrator or any NX user can use the Printer Administrator dialog to define printers for the NX plotting system to represent actual printer and plotter devices. After a printer is defined, NX users can select the printer in the NX print dialog as the destination for their plot output.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the Printers tab of the Printer Administrator dialog to add a printer. When adding a printer, you choose a name for the printer, identify the printer model, specify configuration details such as the device or queue, and save default printing options (e.g. orientation, scaling, use of color) in a system profile for the printer. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">To identify the printer model, you can choose one of a wide variety of pre-defined models provided by the system. If none of the pre-defined models is appropriate for your printer, you can use the Models tab of the Printer Administrator dialog to define a new model for the printer before you add the printer.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the Graphics Default tab of the Printer Administrator dialog to customize export options saved in the system profile for each supported graphics export format (TIFF, JPEG, EMF, CGM or PNG).</p>
      <p class="para_topic">You can use the BPS Settings tab of the dialog to set options that control the retention of files generated for user plot jobs.</p>
