      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Show Facet Edges</b> displays the edges or outlines of the triangular facets rendered for shaded faces. If a shaded face appears to have discontinuities or defects, you can turn on <b class="uiTerm">Show Facet Edges</b> to determine whether the defects coincide with the facet edges. If so, then the observed defects might be caused by the tolerance settings that control the generation of facets. In this case, you can use <b class="uiTerm">Shaded Options</b> (for <b class="uiTerm">Shaded</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Wireframe</b>, or <b class="uiTerm">Partially Shaded</b> rendering styles) or <b class="uiTerm">Advanced Visualization</b> (for Studio or Face Analysis rendering styles) to change the tolerance settings and improve the display quality of the face.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Show Facet Edges</b> setting is a session attribute that applies to all parts in the session. It is not saved from session to session, and for each session it is initialized to OFF.
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">You also can use the <b class="uiTerm">Facet Edges</b> command in the <b class="uiTerm">Visualize</b> toolbar to toggle display of facet edges.
